Adamant med helm

Adamant med helm is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 8 monsters, 3 shops, 1 recipe and 8 other sources for it.

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Helmet Shop in Barbarian Village, at 1,920 coins each. Across the 3 shops that take coins, the price runs from 1,920 to 2,496. You can also make it with 73 Smithing from Adamantite bar at an anvil. Each one made gives 62.5 Smithing XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Harpie Bug Swarm (level 46), at 1/128, about one in 128 kills. The best rate is from Fever spider (level 49): 2/36. The 8 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 46 to 227. It also comes from 8 other sources, such as Vampyre Juvinate and Liam.

It is worn in the head slot; its biggest bonuses are +15 slash defence and +14 stab defence. Shops stock it in 3 places, including Barbarian Village, Keldagrim and Sunset Coast.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 1,152 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 972 coins.
