Ironman verdict

Iron full helm is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 6 monsters, 2 shops and 1 recipe for it.

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Helmet Shop in Barbarian Village, at 154 coins each. Across the 2 shops that take coins, the price runs from 154 to 200. You can also make it with 22 Smithing from 2 × Iron bar at an anvil. Each one made gives 50 Smithing XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Animated Iron Armour (level 23), at Always. That monster also has the best drop rate we list. The 6 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 23 to 120.

The material you can buy or make: Iron bar (2 needed), made with 15 Smithing.

It is worn in the head slot; its biggest bonuses are +7 slash defence and +6 stab defence. Bosses we cover that drop it: Obor and Brutus. Shops stock it in 2 places, including Barbarian Village and Sunset Coast.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 92 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 88 coins; only alch it to clear space.
