Ironman verdict

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Aemad's Adventuring Supplies in East Ardougne, at 2 coins each. You can also make it, no skill level needed, from Vial at a water. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Chaos druid (level 13), at 10/128, about one in 13 kills. The best rate is from Water elemental (level 34): Always. The 8 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 13 to 129. 3 monsters drop it already noted, including Waterfiend and Cave kraken, which saves inventory space on a trip. It also comes from 3 other sources, such as Water-filled vial pack and Mort'ton local.

It is a material in 25 recipes, for example Ardrigal mixture (1 Herblore), Guam potion (unf) (3 Herblore) and Marrentill potion (unf) (5 Herblore). High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 1 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 179 coins; only alch it to clear space.
