Adamant kiteshield

Adamant kiteshield is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 9 monsters, 2 shops, 1 recipe and 8 other sources for it.

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Shields of Mistrock in Mistrock, at 5,440 coins each. You can also make it with 82 Smithing from 3 × Adamantite bar at an anvil. Each one made gives 187.5 Smithing XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Sourhog (level 37), at 1/110, about one in 110 kills. The best rate is from Greater Nechryael (level 200): 7/112. The 8 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 37 to 358. It also comes from 8 other sources, such as Eclectic impling jar and Eclectic impling.

The material you can buy or make: Adamantite bar (3 needed), made with 70 Smithing.

It is worn in the shield slot; its biggest bonuses are +31 slash defence and +29 crush defence. Among the bosses we cover, King Black Dragon drops it. Shops stock it in 2 places, including Mistrock and The Summer Shore.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 3,264 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 3,084 coins.
