Bronze spear

Bronze spear is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 8 monsters, 2 shops, 1 recipe and 1 other source for it.

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Fortis Blacksmith in Civitas illa Fortis, at 26 coins each. You can also make it with 5 Smithing from Bronze bar and Logs at a barbarian anvil. Each one made gives 25 Smithing XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Goblin (Goblin Village) (level 5), at 9/128, about one in 14 kills. The best rate is from Jogre: 30/129. The 3 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 5 to 32. It also comes from Soil.

It is worn in the two-handed weapons slot, attacking every 4 ticks; its biggest bonuses are +6 melee strength and +5 stab attack. Shops stock it in 2 places, including Civitas illa Fortis and The Summer Shore.

It is a material in 5 recipes, for example Bronze spear(kp), Bronze spear(p) and Bronze spear(p+). High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 15 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 165 coins; only alch it to clear space.
