If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Ferocious barbarian spirit (level 166), at 4/128, about one in 32 kills. The best rate is from Black dragon (level 227): 7/128, 16 at a time. The 3 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 166 to 227. It also comes from Chewed bones.

Materials you can buy or make: Adamant dart (5 needed), made with 67 Fletching; Weapon poison, made with 60 Herblore.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 39 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 141 coins; only alch it to clear space.
