OSRS Ironman boss order

There is no single official order, but most Ironmen follow the same shape: learn mechanics on easy bosses, then farm the ones that unlock your next gear upgrade. The order below is ours, based on what each boss drops and what it needs.

Updated 1 October 2026. Facts checked against the game.

Questions

What boss should an Ironman do first?
Brutus or Scurrius for combat XP and mechanics, then Barrows once Priest in Peril is done.

The Fight Cave, Inferno and Chambers of Xeric are safe deaths for solo Hardcores. Zulrah is only safe using the daily resurrection from the elite Western Provinces diary.
