Ironman verdict

Hardleather body is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 1 monster, 1 shop, 2 recipes and 1 other source for it.

The easiest way is to buy it from Aaron's Archery Appendages in Ranging Guild, at 170 coins each. You can also make it with 28 Crafting from Hard leather and Thread. Each one made gives 35 Crafting XP. That is the lowest-level of its 2 recipes. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Kalphite Worker (level 28), at 2/128, about one in 64 kills. It also comes from beginner clue scrolls. It is on the beginner clue scroll reward table, so every beginner clue you complete is a chance at it.

Materials you can buy or make: Hard leather, made with no skill level; Thread, sold at Dommik's Crafting Store for 1 coins.

It is worn in the body slot; its biggest bonuses are +18 crush defence and +15 slash defence. The shop that stocks it is in Ranging Guild.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 102 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 78 coins; only alch it to clear space.
