Ironman verdict
Yak-hide armour (legs) is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 2 recipes for it.
You can make it yourself with 43 Crafting from Cured yak-hide and Thread. Each one made gives 32 Crafting XP. That is the lowest-level of its 2 recipes.
Materials you can buy or make: Cured yak-hide, sold at Contraband yak produce for 110 coins; Thread, sold at Dommik's Crafting Store for 1 coins.
It is worn in the legs slot; its biggest bonuses are +25 stab defence and +20 slash defence.
No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 300 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 120 coins.
