Steel warhammer

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Mount Karuulm Weapon Shop in Mount Karuulm, at 640 coins each. Across the 4 shops that take coins, the price runs from 640 to 832. You can also make it with 39 Smithing from 3 × Steel bar at an anvil. Each one made gives 112.5 Smithing XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Guard (Burthorpe) (level 37), at 8/128, about one in 16 kills. That monster also has the best drop rate we list. The 6 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 37 to 113. It also comes from 5 other sources, such as Steel Chest (red) and Steel Chest (brown).

The material you can buy or make: Steel bar (3 needed), made with 30 Smithing.

It is worn in the one-handed weapons slot, attacking every 6 ticks; its biggest bonuses are +18 crush attack and +18 melee strength. Shops stock it in 4 places, including Mount Karuulm, Cam Torum, Rellekka and Keldagrim.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 384 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 204 coins.
