Ironman verdict

Steel arrow(p) is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 6 monsters and 1 recipe for it.

You can make it yourself, no skill level needed, from 5 × Steel arrow and Weapon poison. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Lev (level 24), at 10/512, about one in 51 kills. That monster also has the best drop rate we list.

Materials you can buy or make: Steel arrow (5 needed), sold at Lowe's Archery Emporium for 12 coins; Weapon poison, made with 60 Herblore.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 7 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 173 coins; only alch it to clear space.
