Ironman verdict

Sapphire bolts is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 1 monster and 1 recipe for it.

You can make it yourself with 56 Fletching from 10 × Mithril bolts and 10 × Sapphire bolt tips. Each one made gives 47 Fletching XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Waterfiend (level 115), at 5/128, about one in 26 kills.

Materials you can buy or make: Mithril bolts (10 needed), made with 54 Fletching; Sapphire bolt tips (10 needed), made with 56 Fletching.

It is worn in the ammunition slot; its biggest bonus is +83 ranged strength.

It is a material in 1 recipe: Sapphire bolts (e) (7 Magic). High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 22 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 158 coins; only alch it to clear space.
