Ironman verdict

Lobster pot is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 2 monsters, 6 shops and 2 other sources for it.

The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Gerrant's Fishy Business in Port Sarim, at 20 coins each. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Rock lobster (level 127), at 10/128, about one in 13 kills. The best rate is from Dagannoth: 12/128. It also comes from 2 other sources, such as Fishing spot (The Stranglewood) and Fishy salvage.

Shops stock it in 6 places, including Port Sarim, Catherby, Witchaven and Fishing Guild.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 12 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 168 coins; only alch it to clear space.
