Ironman verdict

Gold necklace is a free-to-play item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 2 monsters, 1 shop, 1 recipe and 5 other sources for it.

The easiest way is to buy it from Conara's Jewels in Cam Torum, at 450 coins each. You can also make it with 6 Crafting from Gold bar at a furnace. Each one made gives 20 Crafting XP. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Mummy (Ancient Pyramid) (level 103), at 20/513, about one in 26 kills. That monster also has the best drop rate we list. It also comes from 5 other sources, such as Capt' Arnav's Chest and Small chest.

The material you can buy or make: Gold bar, sold at Durrik's Goods for 750 coins.

It is worn in the neck slot, with no positive combat bonuses. The shop that stocks it is in Cam Torum.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 270 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 90 coins.
