It does not drop from monsters and no shop stocks it. It comes from 2 other sources, including elite clue scrolls and master clue scrolls. It is on the elite and master clue scroll reward tables, so every clue of those tiers you complete is a chance at it.
It is worn in the head slot; its biggest bonuses are +8 crush defence and +7 slash defence.
No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 1,200 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 1,020 coins.
