Ironman verdict
Cactus spine is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 1 monster and 4 other sources for it.
The lowest-level monster that drops it is Kalphite Queen (level 333), at 3/126, about one in 42 kills. Kalphite Queen drops it already noted, which saves inventory space on a trip. It also comes from 4 other sources, such as Nature impling and Nature impling jar.
Among the bosses we cover, Kalphite Queen drops it.
It is a material in 1 recipe: Weapon poison+ (unf) (73 Herblore). High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 1 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 179 coins; only alch it to clear space.
