It does not drop from monsters and no shop stocks it. It comes from easy clue scrolls. It is on the easy clue scroll reward table, so every easy clue you complete is a chance at it.
It is worn in the shield slot; its biggest bonuses are +7 slash defence and +6 crush defence.
No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 38 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 142 coins; only alch it to clear space.
