Ironman verdict
Black tourmaline core is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 1 monster for it.
The best rate is from Grotesque Guardians: 1/1,000.
Among the bosses we cover, Grotesque Guardians drops it, and it is one of the drops we flag as worth chasing there.
It is a material in 1 recipe: Guardian boots. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 24,900 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 24,720 coins.
