Ironman verdict

Bandos tassets is a members item. Other players trade it, but an Ironman cannot use the Grand Exchange or trade, so you get your own. We list 4 monsters for it.

The lowest-level monster that drops it is Sergeant Strongstack (level 141), at 1/16,256, about one in 16,256 kills. The best rate is from General Graardor (level 624): 1/381. The 4 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 141 to 624.

It is worn in the legs slot; its biggest bonuses are +93 ranged defence and +71 stab defence. Our gear guide counts it as a late-game legs for melee (it needs 65 Defence to use): where it fits in your progression. Among the bosses we cover, General Graardor drops it, and it is one of the drops we flag as worth chasing there.

It is a material in 1 recipe: Bandosian components. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 173,946 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch nets about 173,766 coins.
