The easiest way is to buy it: the cheapest of the shops that stock it is Dommik's Crafting Store in Al Kharid, at 5 coins each. Across the 5 shops that take coins, the price runs from 5 to 7. If you would rather kill for it, the lowest-level monster that drops it is Barbarian (Barbarian Camp) (level 15), at 1/128, about one in 128 kills. The best rate is from Skeleton (Tarn's Lair): 5/128. The 2 monsters we list with a combat level range from level 15 to 29. It also comes from 2 other sources, such as Tool store 4 and Crafting stall.

Shops stock it in 5 places, including Al Kharid, Rimmington, Civitas illa Fortis and The Summer Shore.

No recipe in our data uses it as a material. High Alchemy (55 Magic) turns one into 3 coins. Each cast uses a nature rune, 180 coins from a rune shop, and five fire runes that a fire staff replaces, so an alch loses about 177 coins; only alch it to clear space.
